More About Me

I'm Laure, a native French mom living with my husband and two children in the North Austin area. I moved here in 2017 with my husband before starting our family.

Becoming a mom was the first step into my journey as a postpartum doula. When my son was born in 2018, I was caught in the postpartum whirlwind, especially emotionally. I had no idea that the postpartum period was something to prepare for just as much as birth. My second postpartum was also pretty challenging in other ways and it took a little over a year to leave this constant fight or flight mode.

This is when I realized that postnatal care was going to be the next way that I would contribute to the world. I want to give the physical and emotional support that I would have wanted at the time.

I intend to put the focus back on the mom and bring support to the whole family.

Postpartum is a very vulnerable period in a woman's life, for the couple and the family as a whole and can feel as magical as brutal. I want to give this phase the value and recognition it deserves. Postpartum support can help make this transition more peaceful for the whole family.
